Lighthearted Beauty and Lifestyle... Honestly.

Oh, the hassle I’ve had this month with Love Me Beauty (hence the late unboxing). First, they didn’t send out my order days after I’d placed it, then I received an email saying one of the products I had ordered was out of stock. I then was informed my order wasn’t sent out at all, so they had to resend it again. I finally received my subscription 16 days after I placed it, with a free gift to say sorry.

Usually Love Me Beauty are fine (despite not offering Tracked shipping, which I think they should), but I just wanted to have a little moan! I got four items this month including the free gift with a total worth of £210.73(!!) – I pay £11.95 a month including shipping for the service so that’s a pretty damn good value. Even without the free gift it would be a value of just over £85. I’ve been using the products for a few days now and can actually provide you with a decent review!

First we have the free gift, which is actually worth £125 and would have ‘cost’ 60 credits. This is the PMD Kiss, which is a lip plumping device and serum that doesn’t suction your whole lips at a time (meaning you avoid the dreaded ring around your mouth) and instead focuses on different areas. I did a whole video review on this and you can watch it in action here!

Next is the Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment, which looks a little like mouthwash. This cost me 25 credits for 59ml (worth £18) which is half the size of the full-size product. I’m loving this cleanser! It takes off makeup so easily and doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry or tight like other cleanser I’ve tried. It’s so smooth and my face feels super soft after use. I’ve used it a few times and haven’t actually needed to use much product so it’ll hopefully last me a while.

This is another Perricone MD product, this time the Face Finishing Moisturiser Tint. At 50ml, this is full-size and worth £59. I spent 60 credits on this moisturiser, so I expected great things from it. It claims to have a universal tint, yet it’s very dark. Once rubbed in and blended down the neck it doesn’t look quite as dark, but it’s definitely not one I could use without putting foundation over the top – I look like I fake-tanned my face! Other than that, it smells expensive and makes my face feel nicely hydrated.

Finally, we have the Buxom Lash Mascara, which I got last month as well. However, I enjoyed it so much that I ordered a second one! This is a just-over-half-size sample (6ml out of 11ml) of mascara worth £8.73 and as you can see from the picture, it makes my lashes look so long and doesn’t clump whatsoever. I love it so much and will definitely be getting the full-size when my two samples run out.
