LOOKFANTASTIC BEAUTY BOX – FEBRUARY 2019
Links are affiliated but opinions are my own
Lurveeee is on the mind this month with the Valentine’s Day themed LookFantastic Beauty Box! There’s six products that represent romance.
If you’re new to my unboxings, I have a whole collection of them here for you to read! If you’d like to sign up, you can do so using the referral code HELEN-R5E right here, which gets you some money off. It’s only £13-15 a month with free delivery!
First we have the usuals – Beauty Box magazine which contains the information about the products as well as some relevant articles pertaining to the theme and to the goodies on sale on the LookFantastic website. We also get the month’s edition of Elle magazine, which is worth £4.30 by itself!
The first item we received is the Philip Kingsley Maximer. This is a volumising styling spray for fine hair, something I definitely don’t have an issue with! As this isn’t curly girl method friendly, I’ll be popping this in a future giveaway. This a 60ml sample (full size: £16.50 for 125ml) worth £7.92.
Next is my favorite one out of the bunch – the Sleek Face Form palette in Light. I was a little worried as I’m usually a Fair kinda gal, but luckily the shades in the palette are buildable and therefore work for me! This is a full-size product worth £9.99.
Another makeup product we got was the Lord & Berry matte lipstick pencil in the shade Initimacy. I love a good lip crayon, and you can either use this as a lipliner or a lipstick. It’s a beauty mauvey nude shade, which is very wearable and suits so many skintones. This is also full-size and worth £14.
The final makeup product we got is the Doucce Punk Volumiser mascara. This is a non-clumping, long-lasting formula with a fluffy bristle wand that has shorter bristles on one side so you can get to the root. This is a sample sized 6ml mascara (full size: £18 for 11.5ml) worth £9.39.
To pair with our new mascara, we got some Emite Rose Gold Eyelash Curlers. I have to admit, I never curl my lashes – it’s just a step in my routine I don’t bother with – but perhaps with these new fancy ones, I will. These are obviously full-size and worth a whopping £19.50.
Finally, we have some skincare! The Erno Laszlo Deep Sea Mud Bar is a cleansing bar – like a normal cleanser in soap form! It has a bunch of minerals and moisturising ingredients. This is a little mini, with only 17g (full size: 100g and £30) worth £5.10.
The total value of this box comes to £70.20, which is a great value compared to the £13 cost! Again, if you do want to sign up, you can do so here using the HELEN-R5E referral code.
