Lighthearted Beauty and Lifestyle... Honestly.

The last time I did a makeup collection post I had about a third of the products I have now. Yikes. Also, I’ve just ordered another 9 lipsticks, a concealer, a mascara and 3 palettes. I think I have a problem.

This is also a video on my YouTube channel so make sure to check that out! You can subscribe by clicking the link below.

I’m currently saving for Alex drawers and a bigger dressing table from Ikea but until then I have a very temporary solution of plastic storage drawers, acrylic drawers and various plastic boxes.

In my top drawer I have products I haven’t tried yet, or things I need to review. All my new stuff! I have a couple of lippies and a few palettes, like the Makeup Obsessions palettes that I am reviewing at the end of Feb and the I <3 Makeup Peach palette I’m reviewing this month too!

The next drawer is my ‘base’ drawer. I’ve created sections with various containers! This drawer includes: eye primers, colour correctors, concealers, primers, foundations/BB creams and powders. My favourite primer at the moment is the Illamasqua Hydra Veil. It’s an amazing primer and needs the recognition it deserves. You can buy it *HERE*!

The next drawer down is my ‘face’ drawer. It contains all my blushes, bronzers, contour products and highlighters. I probably have the least amount of face stuff out of everything. I need to expand my collection.

The bottom drawer has giveaway stuff and product boxes so I don’t need to show you that (yet) so let’s move onto the top of my desk! I have a skincare section first, with the items that aren’t currently in my daily routine but I still use from time-t0-time. I’m planning a separate post for my skincare, so keep an eye out for that. I also have some tools in there, like eyelashes curlers and tweezers from my January #LFBeautyBox (remember, you can get your LFBeautyBox from *HERE* and you can use my code HELEN-R5E to get some money off!)

My brushes are in this little cardboard box, but I will be doing my brush collection on my youtube channel tomorrow (if you’re reading this post the day it publishes) so you’ll have to watch that to see them! You can subscribe by clicking here.

These acrylic cases were from eBay and are my fave things. On the top I have lipsticks and some items that didn’t fit in the drawers, like Benefit Ka-Brow, setting spray and a couple of mascaras. The lipsticks are separated into liquid lipsticks and ‘normal’ lipsticks/glosses.

In the top drawers I have ‘extras’ – topcoats, lash glue, and so on. Basically stuff that doesn’t really have a home. It’s a makeup orphanage!

The next drawer down has all of my eyeliners. I rarely use eyeliner so these are a bit neglected.

Below that is my single eyeshadows, mini eyeshadows and glitter. I tend to forget about this because of my eyeshadow palettes!

These are my mascaras, including the random ones that were on the top. I think I need more space for them. I NEED my Alex drawers!

These are my brow products. I’ve been testing out different products recently as I’ve never had perfect brows and I want perfect brows. It’s been a long road of discovery and frustration.

This drawer is a bit random, but it’s some depotted eyeshadows, blushes and highlights. I took out the shades I used from the Revolution Blush, Light & Contour palette but they aren’t magnetic! So I’m trying to decide what to do next.

Lastly, PALETTES. This is also temporary storage, obviously. I’m using a little inbox tray thing for now but I want a letter organiser and a small palette organiser as well. All of these are eyeshadow palettes and I love them all. I have so many. So. Many.
