TOP 10 REVOLUTION BEAUTY MAKEUP PRODUCTS

TOP 10 REVOLUTION BEAUTY MAKEUP PRODUCTS

I recently put together a list of all my favourite makeup products from drugstores, but I soon realised that it would be dominated by Revolution Beauty brands! Therefore, I thought I’d separate it and put Revolution Pro, I Heart Revolution and Makeup Revolution in its own list.

If you haven’t seen my previous post about the top 10 makeup products from the drugstore in general, I recommend reading that next!

1. REVOLUTION PRO PRIME & HYDRATE PRIMER

This primer is a dupe of a MAC product and, honestly, I wouldn’t feel the need to buy the MAC one after using this. I love a moisturising primer and this one feels like skincare! It hydrates my skin and preps it nicely for makeup. It’s £7 from RevolutionBeauty.com, which ships worldwide.

2. I HEART REVOLUTION FIXING SPRAY

These fixing sprays come in lots of scents – and I have all of them. My favourite scent by far is the Peaches & Cream spray, which smells like No More Tears kids’ shampoo and peach sweets. Yum! This spray not only sets makeup in place, but also stops the powdery and cakey look of powder products on the skin. I love it! The fixing sprays are £6 each.

3. REVOLUTION CONCEAL & DEFINE CONCEALER

I couldn’t write a Best-of list and not include the classic Conceal and Define concealer! This is such a holy grail for me and so many others; it’s an amazing drugstore concealer and the shade range (50 shades!!) is just incredible. The coverage is great and it also works really well as an eye base, too. The 4ml tubes are £4 and the 13ml tubes are £7.

4. REVOLUTION CUT CREASE CANVAS

Speaking of eye bases, the cut crease canvas is definitely more of a hidden gem in Revolution’s range. It’s designed to be used to carve out a cut crease – even the applicator is a flat brush – but I just prefer to use it all over the lid to prime the eyes for eyeshadow, especially as the brush isn’t the best. You don’t need much on the applicator as it’s full coverage and spreads far. This is £6!

5. REVOLUTION PRO FOUNDATION DROPS

It was quite tricky to choose the best foundation. The Matte Base was another strong contender! In the end, I went for the foundation drops because I prefer the more skin-like finish and custom coverage you can achieve depending on how many drops you use. It makes it more versatile and suits so many more people with different needs and likes. You can buy them for £7 each.

6. REVOLUTION ULTRA CONTOUR KIT

I’ve been raving about this palette in budget best-of lists for such a long time. This little palette is just £4 for bronzer, blush and a highlighter. This is the Fair shade, which works really well for my pale skin. The blush is a NARS Orgasm dupe and the highlighter is really pretty and glowy. The bronzer is a little warm but still works nicely for a bronzed look.

7. REVOLUTION PRECISE BROW PENCIL

I said in my previous post that all brow pencils are created equal. This one works beautifully and is so affordable so I had to include it in this list. The spoolie works nicely to blend out the front of my brow and the tip of the pencil is so precise which means I can be super neat. It’s £3!

8. I HEART REVOLUTION I HEART CHOCOLATE LIPGLOSS

It wasn’t hard to choose my favourite lip product as I’ve been wearing the same thing every day for weeks! I have most of the shades of the I Heart Revolution chocolate lipglosses and they’re just so easy to put on – they’re not too sticky, not too pigmented nor sheer and wear really well. There’s a nude for everyone and they’re only £3 each.

9. REVOLUTION RELOADED DEEP DIVE

I couldn’t choose just one palette; I had to choose at least two. The first is the new Deep Dive palette which is in the Reloaded series. I love the formula of the Reloaded palettes, especially for the price, but the reason why I chose Deep Dive is because the blues and greens are beautiful. I’m really into blue and green eyeshadow at the moment. You can get this palette for just £4.

10. REVOLUTION X SOPH EXTRA SPICE

My final item is the Soph Extra Spice palette, which is just such a lovely formula for a drugstore palette and the colours in here can be used for a really bright look or a super everyday look. I think it’s versatile and definitely a must-have in my opinion. Get it for £10.
