TOP FIVE DRUGSTORE BRONZERS FOR PALE SKIN
Bronzers are notoriously tricky to find for those of us who are pale AF, especially from the drugstore, where shade ranges are often not great. However, I’ve accumulated my personal favourites under a tenner that should work for most paler skin tones. I’ve also done a post like this for highlights too, so make sure to go and read that one!
Links are affiliated but opinions are my own!
1. CYO Bronzing Powder in Fair
This bronzer looks a little dark and orange in the pan, but on the skin (as long as you don’t go too overboard) it’s very subtle. It does have a warmer undertone, but does work for neutral skin tones too.
2. MUA Bronzing Powder in 110 and 100
This is two shades in one, as one is cool-toned (110) and one is warmer (100!). Depending on your undertone, either one of these will work for you. The 100 shade has a yellower undertone, whereas 110 looks more like a contour shade. These bronzers are affordable and work surprisingly well despite being so cheap.
3. Bourjois Bronzing Powder in 51
It looks like chocolate and smells like chocolate too, so I was always going to like it no matter what! But this bronzer is actually good for other reasons too – it has a nice neutral undertone and blends very softly. It can be built up or just used as a very light layer of warmth.
4. Obsession Bronzer in Natural
I am a bit worried that this will be discontinued since Obsession had a little rebrand, but I have all of my fingers crossed that it doesn’t, as I love it. As the shade name suggests, it’s a beautifully natural bronzer and is such a great shade for me. It’s blendable and buildable and I love it.
5. MUA Bronzed Perfection Matte Bronzer in Sunset Tan
I was also worried about this huge bronzer being discontinued, but it was just being reformulated to make it talc-free, which is even better! As well as the huge amount of product, this bronzer is so good for a subtle, buildable warmth. It’s neutral, so isn’t too orange or grey, and is so smooth it almost feels creamy.
This isn’t on the website yet, but it’s in Superdrug stores for £4.
