MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE LIPSTICKS FOR WINTER

MY TOP 5 FAVOURITE LIPSTICKS FOR WINTER

In December I did a ‘Top 5 Christmas Lipsticks’ post, so I thought I’d do my Top 5 Winter Lipsticks for when it’s not as festive, but still as bloody freezing. This is also a YouTube video so make sure to go and watch it over there; the link is at the bottom of the post!

First (in no particular order), is the PS Matte Liquid Lipstick in Kendall. This is an interesting colour but it seems almost ‘frosty’ in tone, making it apt for winter. This colour suits my pale skin really well and is something different that I wouldn’t usually go for in warmer months. Only £2 as well!

Next is a PS Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Hustle. This is such an easy lippy to use and is nice and moisturising on your cold, chapped heart lips. It goes with lots of types of eye makeup, too. I like wearing it on ‘no makeup, makeup’ days because it tells people you’ve still got your life together whether or not you managed to contour today.

Number three is yet another PS lipstick, this time a Matte Lipstick in the colour Obsessed. I pair this with the PS Lipliner in the matching colour (possibly called Vamp???) to help it stay all day and not bleed around the edges. I like having darker lips in winter, it just always works.

Next up is a bit out-there but it’s the colour Peacock by LimeCrime. I love this colour, even if the lipstick is a bit awkward to put on my actual lips, but it brightens up a winter’s day. It’s so cool and isn’t TOO crazy too wear.

Lastly is Kylie’s Leo. I needed a red in this list and what better than a lipkit? This is a dramatic, deep brown-red so it doesn’t look festive at all (except maybe the packaging) but it is a really great wintery shade for a more intense makeup day.

I hope you enjoyed this post! This is also a youtube video so make sure to go and subscribe by clicking the link below.
