Lighthearted Beauty and Lifestyle... Honestly.

Makeup brands go all out for their summer releases, using the heat and general good vibes of the season to hype up their new collections. With so many products being released, it can be difficult to keep on top of it all, so I’ve collated as much as I could find in one post. jeffree star summer chrome collection

Love him or hate him, Jeffree Star Cosmetics have released the Chrome collection for summer, which includes his famous liquid lipsticks, highlighters, lip ammunitions and lipscrubs. Personally I don’t support this brand, but I have to admit the collection is very pretty. Find the collection on BeautyBay in the UK and Jeffree’s own website.

kylie cosmetics summer vacation collection

Kylie Cosmetics released their Vacation-themed summer collection, which includes a palette, matte and velvet lipsticks, a highlight palette and contour duo. It’s only available from Kylie’s online store and goes out of stock very quickly, so keep an eye out for restocks!

tanya burr cosmetics summer capsule collections

Tanya Burr has released two mini collections this summer (so far). The first is the Neutral Ambiance collection, which consists of two lipsticks and two eyeshadow palettes. The latest collection is the Chasing The Sun collection, which includes contour sticks, three illuminating powders and three tinted lipbalms. You can find Tanya Burr on Feel Unique – use this link for £10 off your order – and Superdrug.

tambeauty new releases makeup revolution, freedom, i heart makeup

TAMBeauty hasn’t released a summer collection per se, but they are always releasing new products, with new products being teased (check out the owner’s instagram!) such as a new Skin Kiss highlighter and at least three new Chocolate Bar palettes in the next few weeks. They’ve recently released new highlighters, palettes, singles and brushes! Their site has a ‘new’ section, so go and browse to your heart’s content!

urban decay summer releases heat palette naked shapeshifter

I’m sure you’ve seen the Urban Decay Heat palette release, which came out as a collection alongside two eyeliners and Vice lipsticks. Urban Decay have also released a few more bits, like a new Naked perfume, Naked Shapeshifter palette (a contour kit), more eyeliners, skincare and makeup removal products, highlighter, powder, more primer potions and the Jean Basquiat collection.

kiko cosmetics new collections and releases diva minis and 20 years

Kiko are currently releasing capsule collections to celebrate 20 years of the brand, incorporating designers and different themes to create each set. They’ve also released the Mini Divas collection, which is a group of minis – perfect for travelling this summer! I haven’t personally tried any of Kiko’s makeup but I definitely want to!

COLOURPOP new summer releases and collections

Colourpop is spelt the English way, yet is only available in America. Funny, that! Colourpop is absolutely slaying the summer releases, though, with a new palette, highlighter palette, new singles of their pressed and supershock shadows, a new collab collection with iluvsarahii and new sets of their lipsticks. It’s worth checking the brand’s instagram for restock notices, as everything is selling out extremely quickly and it seems well worth a look.

drugstore new releases nyx maybelline loreal collection rimmel

Finally, there are so many drugstore new summer releases, like the Maybelline Lip Lacquers and City palettes, Rimmel’s Insta girl collection, L’oreal’s continuation of their infallible range and a new mascara, Collection’s conceal and correct set and Nyx’s new foundation drops. There’s so much new stuff to choose from, more than I could possibly list in one blog post.

What new releases are you treating yourselves to this summer?
