Lighthearted Beauty and Lifestyle... Honestly.

I’ve been accumulating empty products for weeks now (which is weird, if you think about it) and I finally have enough for an empties post! This is my first empties on my blog, so let me know if you enjoyed it.

Shea Moisture Restorative Conditioner – this was fairly pricey and didn’t really do anything that a cheaper conditioner wouldn’t do. I was hoping it would sort out my dry, frizzy hair, but alas! I didn’t. It was also really difficult to get out of the container, as I couldn’t squeeze the tub and the hole was so small!

Would I repurchase? Nope.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Conditioner – this conditioner  was also quite difficult to get out as it was quite solid plastic! It also didn’t do much good to my hair. I have really fussy hair that doesn’t seem to get better whatever I do.

Would I repurchase? If it was in an easier container, maybe.

Argan Oil Conditioner – this is a weird unbranded (unless Argan Oil is the brand?) conditioner that only cost me 99p in Home Bargains. It was AS good as the other two and did what conditioners are supposed to do.

Would I repurchase? Of course, it’s 99p!

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask – I love these masks! They’re only £1.50 in either Boots, Superdrug or supermarkets. I feel so hydrated and smooth after I use one and you only need one a week!

Would I repurchase? I get one every week, so YES.

Superdrug Hydrogel Eye Patches – I got this when my sleeping pattern was awful and I needed something to help my undereyes, but I didn’t really feel like they did anything except make them a bit less dry. I had hoped that they’d sort out my dark circles, but nope.

Would I repurchase? If I ever get super dry undereyes, probably.

CoQ10 Caviar Sheet Mask – this was in a LookFantastic Beauty Box so it was free! I didn’t think it did anything better than the Garnier facemask but it still hydrating my skin.

Would I repurchase? I wouldn’t buy it, but wouldn’t mind getting it again for free…

La Roche-Posay Anti-Discomfort/Puffiness Cream – this was a one or two use sample, so I can’t really come to a proper opinion about it, but it definitely soothed my undereyes and reduced their puffiness in the morning.

Would I repurchase? Nope, too expensive and my undereyes aren’t that puffy or uncomfortable.

La Roche-Posay Immediate and Lasting Relief Cream – this is a soothing cream for allergic reactions or sensitive skin. I put it on my red bumps (possible gluten intolerence) on my cheeks but didn’t see any difference. I don’t have any sensitive skin so I can’t comment on that.

Would I repurchase? Again, too expensive! And It didn’t help my red bumps.

Thalgo Silicium Wrinkle Correction and Lifting Eye Cream – another tiny sample, but I didn’t feel like this had any effect over the two times I used it. Maybe if I had a full-sized product I could have tested it out a bit more, but I’m not willing to spend the ££.

Would I repurchase? Nope, but I wouldn’t turn down another sample.

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water – for the longest time, I used this to take off my makeup. Now I tend to use actual makeup remover as I think it does a better job, but Micellar water is still really good at its job.

Would I repurchase? I have a mini one on the go at the moment, and probably will keep buying small ones just to have them in my skincare bag.

NARS Bronzer in Laguna – I am obsessed with this bronzer. It was a one-use sample and I’m desperately trying to save up to buy a full-size one. It was such a lovely colour and went on so beautifully.

Would I repurchase? If I can afford it, DEFINITELY.

NARS Blush in Orgasm – this is a cult favourite and another one-use sample. I wasn’t expecting it to be so shimmery; it was almost duo-toned, with a pale pink and gold shift. It was a nice colour but a little too shimmery for me.

Would I repurchase? Probably not, but the formula was lovely so I’d go for a different colour!

I hope you enjoyed this new type of post! Let me know what you thought in the comments.
