BEAUTY FAVOURITES – JANUARY 2017
I don’t have a huge collection (yet…) but I do have my favourites and I wanted to share them with you! I do have monthly favourites posts and videos but this my overall favourites in my entire collection.
35O Palette – is it any wonder? How gorgeous is this palette? I’ve reviewed this before (here) and I used it almost every single day in Autumn.
MUR Light & Shade – I’ve raved about this KVD dupe lots, but seriously – this is a whole fave in a palette. Honestly. It’s the best. See my review here, and watch my ‘full face’ with this palette here.
Lorac Mega Pro – I reach for this palette so often. It has a huge selection and the shades are all so good.
PS Pro High Definition Mascara – I bought three of these just in case they sold out when I needed anther. It’s amazing and only £3!
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara – A new mascara for me, but… it’s the best-selling mascara in the world, so is it any wonder that it’s on this list?
Benefit Ka-Brow – Benefit’s brow products are always amazing and the Kabrow makes my eyebrows look really soft and natural, which is what I like.
Colourpop Single Eyeshadow – The ColourPop singles are so buttery and pigmented and are sooooo good for the price!
MUR Strobe Highlighter in Moonglow Lights – This is a fairly recent purchase but I’m obsessed. It’s not too pink or too gold or too white. It’s beautiful.
PS Contour Kit – I actually only use the middle shade for contour but it’s such a good colour for me and is really pretty. It blends out nicely and doesn’t make you look ashy or orange.
MUR Blush Goddess Palette – I use all of these blushes all the time – you get variety and it’s not too subtle and not too pigmented so it’s perfect. The highlights are really nice as well!
MUA Bronzer in Sunset Tan – It’s difficult to find a bronzer that doesn’t make me look like an idiot but this one is really great for pale people. It’s subtle but warms up your face.
Rimmel Kate Lipstick in #19 – This has been my favourite lipstick since 2012. It’s a really different colour and the Kate Moss lipsticks are really gorgeous anyway.
Kylie Lipkit in 22 – This was a Christmas gift and I’m so happy I have it. It’s really beautiful and I think it would look nice in all seasons. I did a review here.
PS Lipliners – The lipliners from Primark are £1 and are my favourite lipliners I’ve ever tried. They’re so creamy and last forever. I did a review here.
PS Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Hustle – This is actually a really similar colour to Rimmel’s #19, but the lip crayons are so moisturising and easy to use. I reviewed it here.
LimeCrime Velvetines in Riot – This is the lipstick I’ve probably used most this year. I love the colour and the formula so much.
PS Super Matte Lipstick in Kendall – This is another newbie but is such a ‘different’ colour. I think it’s beautiful and really suits pale skin
Dose Liquid Lipstick in Brick – This miiiiiiight be fake but it’s a really lovely dark terracotta colour and was perfect in Autumn.
PS Liquid Foundation in Porcelain – Another Primark product and I’ll definitely be repurchasing. It’s only £2.50 and makes me skin look flawless.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Fair – This is a firm favourite by everyone on the internet and it’s easy to see why – full coverage for £4. Yaaaaaaas.
PS Pro Primer – I don’t have many primers, but this one is great. It provides a great base for foundation and feels so much more expensive.
L’Oreal True Match Foundation in 1N – This is lasting me FOREVER and it never fails to make me look and feel good about my skin. It’s really nice and light but still gives you great coverage.
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Transparent – Another product I’ve loved since abut 2012. It’s so good at setting my base and evening out my complexion.
PS Loose Powder in Light [not pictured] – This is a powder I use when I want some more coverage. It makes my face look so even and doesn’t look or feel cakey at all.
Real Techniques 300 Brush – How pretty is this brush? Gorgeous. It applies everything really well, no matter what it is. I’ve used it for powder, contour and blush and it does so good.
Real Techniques Blush Brush – I use this every single time for my blush. Every. Single. Time. RT Brushes are just really good.
Real Techniques Dupe Brushes – I reviewed this set here, but these are the ones I use on a daily basis. They are really good!
Real Techniques Bronzer Brush – Again, it’s real techniques so it’s gotta be good! It applies a light finish of bronzer which is perfect for me as I’m so pale and can easily look orange.
W7 Blending Brush – I use this every time I do my eyeshadow, it’s so good and is really cheap!
Royal Blending Sponge [pictured in ‘base’] – I feel like all of the tools are either RT or RT dupes. Oopsie. But this sponge was £3.99 and is really good at applying foundation and concealer, either dry or damp.
Royal Eye Shading Brush – This does my undereyes PERFECTLY. I use it every single day and it’s brilliant for a cheap brush.
eBay Blending Brush – I have yet to find a better blending brush. This came with 3 others and they’re all excellent and blend so well.
Those were all my favourite makeup products, I hope you enjoyed! Let me know what your favourites are!
